Investigation Of The Relationship And Expression Of XIAP And XAF1 In Endometrial Carcinoma | | Posted on:2010-05-30 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:S H Chen | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2144360278969465 | Subject:Gynecology | | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | | Objective:To investigate the correlation of expression levels of X-chromosome-linked inhibitors of apoptosis protein(XIAP) and XIAP-associated factor-1(XAF1)with the occurrence and development of in normal proliferative endometrium,endometrial intra-epithelial neoplasia (EIN) and endometrial carcinoma(EC),to provide the clues for early of EC.Methods:60 cases of EC and 30 cases of EIN of uterine endothelia were selected in our study.20 cases of normal uterine endometria in proliferative stag were used as the contort group.All collections were confirmed by pathology.Immunohistochemistry was used to study the expression of XIAP,XAF1 and Estrogen receptor(ER),the correlation between their expression and the clinical pathological factors were analyzed.Results:1.XIAP positive immunoreaction in normal proliferative endometrium,EIN and EC was significant difference,gradually strengthened(P<0.05).The positive expression rate of XIAP in normal proliferative endometrium was tenuity or rare.There is significant differential expression among the normal group,EIN and EC group(P<0.05).In EC,the expression of XIAP was closely related with the degree of clinical stage,different pathological grade and muscular invasion depth(P<0.05),but there is no differential expression between the histological type.(P>0.05).2.XAF1 positive immunoreaction in normal proliferative endometrium,EIN and EC was significant difference,gradually attenuate(P<0.05).The positive expression rate of XAF1 in normal proliferative endometrium was high expression.There is significant differential expression among the normal group,EIN and EC group(P<0.05).In EC,the expression of XAF1 was closely related with the degree of clinical stage,different pathological grade and muscular invasion depth(P<0.05),but there is no differential expression between the histological type(P>0.05).3.The expression of ER protein in different group ER positive immunoreaction in normal proliferative endometrium,EIN and EC was significant difference,gradually attenuate(P<0.05).There is significant differential expression between EC and other groups(P<0.05),but no differential expression between normal proliferative endometrium group and EIN group(P>0.05).The positive expression rate of XIAP,XAF1 is differential expression between ER positive group and negative group(P<0.05).4.Negative correlations were observed between the expression of XIAP and XAF1 in EC.Conclusion:1.The high expression of XIAP and low expression of XAF1, participate in the process from EIN to EC,may be the early event in the development of EC,and play a role in the malignant progression of EC.2.the loss of XAF1 may resulted the activation of XIAP,then apoptosis was restraint,the cell cycle was unbalanced,that may play a role in the occurrence and development of EC. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | endometrial carcinoma, endometrial intra-epithelial neoplasia, X chromosome-linked inhibitors of apoptosis protein, XIAP-associated factor 1, estrogen receptor, immunohistochemistry | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
