The Treatment Strategy Of Adolescent Congenital Scoliosis

Objective:To study the treatment strategy of adolescent congenital scoliosis. and analyze the effection.Methods:Preoperative standing coronal and sagittal radio- graphs as well as supine side- bending radiographs,CT and three -dimensional reconstruction,MRI were taken in all these patients.We divided congenital scoliosis into 2 groups according to pathogenic section.Groupâ… (17 cases)was long-segmentation disease. Groupâ…¡(21 cases) was short-segmentation disease.All patients were treated with different operational methods.Groupâ… were directly performed to posterior orthopedic operation.according to the Cobbs of Lateral -bending.Groupâ…¡were performed to semi-vertebractomy or diastematomyeliactomy with osteotomy according to diastematomyelia.Results:In groupâ… ,the average frontal correction was 54.6%.In groupâ…¡,the average frontal correction was 64.2%.Conclusion:Orthopedic operation has great risk with adolescent congenital seoliosis.We must consummate the examination before operation.As far as possible to avoid neurological complications,then to orthopedic operation and achieve physical balance.
