Toxicology Study On Compatibility Of Euphorbia Kansui And Fructus Jujubae

Euphorbia Kansui is a long-historical-using Traditional Chinese Medicine in China.It is used to diuresis and cure ascites disease.However,the toxicity of Euphorbia Kansui is enormous, it can cause skin/gastrointestinal tract mucosa hurt,as well as liver and kidney.Old Herbalist doctor use Fructus Jujubae to detoxify Euphorbia Kansui normally.The research of using the compatibility of Euphorbia Kansui and Fructus Jujubae clinically is easy to find,however,study on pharmacology and toxicology of the compatibility is limited.This task needs more deep researches.In order to perfect lab researches on toxicity of Euphorbia Kansui,and toxicity of compatibility of Euphorbia Kansui and Fructus Jujubae,more deeply and comprehensively,my studies are including:acute toxicity text,MTD,pharmacodynamics of the compatibility of Euphorbia Kansui and Fructus Jujubae,experiment of K~+ supplement,acute auricle otitis of mice, and effects of extracts of Kansui and Fructus Jujubae on the contraction of isolated ileal smooth muscle of rabbits.The acute toxicity experiments showed that Kansui has an quick toxic effect on mices.The quickest death time by ig extracts of Kansui in mice was 30 minutes.The main toxicity reaction was diarrhea,movement handicap,dystaxia,muscle spasm,bradypsychia,hair bristled et al.This toxicity effect has no sex difference.The occurrence and the strength of the toxicity effect has dose-effect relationship.The higher the dose is,the more effect the mice got.The toxicity effects of extracts of Kansui are different.The MTD of Kansui powder SO1 is 14.54g/kg;the water extracts of Kansui SO2 is 34.36g/kg;SO3 is 36.36g/kg.The LD50 of ethanol extracts of Kansui SO4 ig in mice is 20.991g/kg,95%fiducial limit is 17.677g/kg～24.942g/kg;the LD50 of ethanol extracts of Kansui SO5 ig in mice is 7.3845g/kg,95%fiducial limit is 5.3046/kg～10.022g/kg.The compatibility of Euphorbia Kansui and Fructus Jujubae toxicity experiments showed that Kansui ig in mice will course hepatotoxicity.Fructus Jujubae can detoxify the effects.Meanwhile,according to the affections of blood biochemical indicators after Euphorbia Kansui and Fructus Jujubae ig in mice,we found the blood contain little K+.After compatibile with Fructus Jujubae,the the affections of blood biochemical indicators and pathological section is similar to normal mice.So Fructus Jujubae may detoxify the effects. Experiment of supplement shows that:(1) ig KCL after ig different extracts of Kansui can prevent the death of mice,and the affections of blood biochemical indicators is similar to normal mice;(2) the anti-inflammation of extracts of Fructus Jujubae on auricle of mice is not obvious. This mechanism needs more deep researches.Effects of extracts of Kansui and Fructus Jujubae on the contraction of isolated ileal smooth muscle of rabbits shows that:60%ethanol extracts of Kansui may the toxicity part which cause skin and gastrointestinal tract mucosa hurt,and ethanol extracts of Fructus Jujubae may the efficient part which can reduce the effects.
