The Effect Of PJTF To The Expression Of Estrogen And Pogesterone Receptor (ER, PR) In The Endometria Of Uterine Leiomyoma

Objective: Ping Jing Tang Fang were used to treat the uterine leiomyoma, by observing abnormal menstrual symptoms and other clinical score before and after treatment, And the changes that the expression score of estrogen receptor (ER) and progesterone receptor (PR) in the endometrial, To explore the clinical efficacy of Ping Jing Tang Fang to uterine leiomyoma and the elucidation of its mechanism.Methods: All 40 cases of uterine leiomyoma were from ward and out-patient clinic of Jiangsu Provincal hospital of traditional Chinese medicine, during April 2008 ~ March 2009. all cases meet the criteria of diagnostic, inclusion, exclusion, omissions, shedding and standards of TCM. These 40 cases were randomly divided into two groups:Treatment groups and control groups. Treatment groups were treated by TCM of Ping Jing Tang Fang in non-menstrual side. Control groups were treated by Da Huang Zhe Chong Wan. A whole medication course last two menstrual cycles. Immunohistochemical of SP method was used to determine the ER,PR in Endometria. Before and after treatment, the changes were observed, the quantity of expression of ER,PR in the endometria of patients was determined, clinical symptoms, Signs and diference of Serum estrogen and progesterone (E2, P) were recorded. All data were anaylized by statistical processing.Results: Ping Jing Tang Fang can effectively alleviate the patients with uterine leiomyoma to improve menstrual abnormalities, to reduce the waist, lower abdomen pain and other clinical symptoms, and could significantly inhibit endometrial of ER,PR expression. The overall efficiency of Treatment group was 85%, and the Control group was 75%. Clinical comparison of the two groups was unsignificant difference (P >0.05). Chinese comparison of the two groups of symptoms are also significant differences. The uterine size and the Hysteromyoma size of the two groups after treatment showed no significant difference (P> 0.05). Two pre-treatment serum CA125 and CEA were normal, and The two groups after treatment showed no significant difference (P>0.05), and comparability; estrogen and Progesterone of the two groups before treatment showed no significant difference (P>0.05), and comparability; and the two groups after treatment showed significant difference (P<0.05), and comparability. The two groups after treatment of endometrial ER, PR. levels were lower, the two groups before treatment showed no significant difference (P>0.05), and comparability; Chinese medicine treatment group compared before and after there were significant differences (P <0.01), the control group compared before and after treatment also showed significant difference (P <0.05), and the two groups after treatment showed no significant difference (P <0.05).Conclusion: Ping Jing Tang Fang can effectively improve Xue Re Jia Yu Symptoms of patients with uterine leiomyoma, could Conditioning Menstrual, improve the clinical symptoms, Control the growth of Leiomyoma Modern pharmacological studies show that the Ping Jing Tang Fang have the role of anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory, analgesic, sedative and Promote immune function, Its mechanism may be through the Antagonism of estrogen and progesterone receptor binding to its corresponding,and to Inhibit leiomyoma cell proliferation, Research suggests that the Ping Jing Tang Fang can be used as a primary or adjuvant treatment of uterine leiomyoma, lift suffering patients, improving the quality of the life of patients.
