| [Objective]:The aim of this study was to measure excretion of Tamm-Horsfall protein and calcium of 24 hours urinary in the simple kidney radiopaque calculus formers and normal controls; to investigate the role of the Tamm-Horsfall protein in kidney stones; and the correlation between Tamm-Horsfall protein and urinary calcium.[Method]:Simple kidney stones group selected 50 patients (35 males,15 females), 27 to 60 years old (44±9.99 years); normal control group selected 30 patients (23 males and 7 females),25 to 60 years old (41±10.12 years). And collect 24 hours urine. Double antibody sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) was determinated of urinary Tamm-Horsfall protein content. Detector measured by automatic biochemical content of calcium. SPSS 11.5 statistical methods used for data processing package.[Result]:Simple kidney stones and normal control group, two in the 24 hours urinary Tamm-Horsfall protein for statistical analysis. Simple kidney stones,24 hours urinary Tamm-Horsfall protein (20.2±2.9mg/24h) lower than the control group (25.3±2.7mg/24h), was statistically significant (p<0.05). The two groups in serum calcium data processing, simple kidney stones group of calcium (2.49±0.12mmol/L) and normol control group (2.25±0.12mmol/L) was not significant (p<0.05).24 hours urinary calcium in the two groups for statistical analysis, simple kidney stones,24 hours urinary calcium (8.34±2.80 mmol/24h) higher than the control group (6.29±1.23 mmol/24h), there was statistically significant (p<0.05). Kidney stones group were simple hypercalciuria accounts for 48%(19 males,5 females). Normal control group, urinary calcium and accounted for 20%(5 males,1 female). Then kidney stones with simple group and the control group were urinary Tamm-Horsfall protein and linear regression analysis showed that urinary calcium, two groups urinary Tamm-Horsfall protein were not correlated with urinary calcium.[Conclusion]:Tamm-Horsfall protein is an important inhibitor in the process of kidney stone formation. The reduction of Tamm-Horsfall protein is an important factor leading to occurrence of kidney stones. The 24 hours urinary calcium levels of relation with kidney stones wes significantly increased. High urinary calcium is another important factor in the occurrence of kidney stones. |
