| Objective:To investigate and conclude the proportion of aneurysms in various location, size, age, the preoperative classification of Hunt-Hess and CT Fisher.Estimate the randomness and validity of our data by comparison it with other clinical data. Furthermore, to preliminarily analyze the outcomes of endovascular treatment for cerebral aneurysms.Methods:226 patients with 266 intracranial aneurysms were treated by endovascular embolization.Hunt-Hess grade,CT Fisher grade, location and size of aneurysms, and age of patients, therapeutic time window were used as a standard classification to compare endovascular treatment of intracranial aneurysms in patients with Modified Rankin Score(mRS).Results:226 patients with 266 intracranial aneurysms were treated in our department from January 2005 to July 2009, male 101 cases, femal 125 cases,femal/male radio equal to 1:1.24, the average age of male and female is 50.79 years old. Preoperative Hunt-Hess grade I 63 cases, II 131 cases, III 19 cases, IV 10 cases, V 3 cases. Compared with each other, Hunt-HessI and III, I and IV, I and V, Handâ…¢, II and IV, II and V, III and IV, III and V had statistical significance (P<0.05), Hunt-Hess I and II, IV andV, had no statistical significance (P>0.05);preoperative CT Fisher grade:124 cases, II 151 cases,â…¢42 cases, IV 9 cases. Compared with each other, they had no statistical significance(P>0.05); compared less than 60-year-old patients with patients aged over 60,the results showed no statistical significance (P>0.05); the internal carotid artery system and vertebral-basilar artery system, no statistical significance was found(P>0.05); small aneurysms 74 cases, the general type aneurysms 164 cases, large aneurysms 20 cases, giant aneurysms 8 cases, the results had no statistical significance(P>0.05); early, middle and late therapeutic time window were compared and had no statistical significance(P>0.05). Hunt-Hess gradeâ… 3 cases of hydrocephalus occurred, grade II 11 cases occurred, gradeâ…¢8 cases occurred, grade IV 4 cases, compared with each other, grade I and grade III, grade I and grade IV, grade II and grade III, grade II and grade IV were significant (all P<0.05), grade I and grade II, III and IV grade-level showed no statistically significant difference (P>0.05). CT Fisher grade 1 0 cases of hydrocephalus occurred, grade2 10 cases occurred, grade3 was 14 cases, grade4 4 cases, compared with each other, grade1 and grade3, grade1 and grade4, grade2 and grade3,2 and 4 grade level, showed statistical significance (P<0.05), grade1 and grade2,3 and 4 grade level comparison showed no statistically significant difference (P> 0.05).Conclusion:This group of clinic patients with aneurysms have natural random, the statistical results of basiline characteristics are close to the results of a large series of cases which were reported by articales. The statistical results are confident according to data. The higher the preoperative Hunt-Hess grade was, the worse its prognosis became; CT Fisher grade on the endovascular treatment of aneurysms had no effect on prognosis; age factor had no effect on the prognosis of endovascular treatment; the size and location of the aneurysms had no effect on the prognosis of patients, for vertebro-basilar aneurysms, endovascular treatment is preferred; therapeutic time window had no effect on prognosis. High Hunt-Hess grade or high-grade aneurysm patients CT Fisher placed a higher probability of hydrocephalus.Endovascular treatment of intracranial aneurysms in long-term clinical effect remains to be the follow-up and summary of the bulk of cases. |
