Objective:To undergo hearing evaluation test and drug therapy of subjective tinnitus associated with sudden sensorineural hearing loss for diagnosis and guiding the drug therapy of extract of ginkgo biloba leaves injection and methylprednisolone. Methods:The 111 patients with subject tinnitus were diagnosed as sensorineural hearing loss.111 patients divide into three groups according to the results of pure tone audiometry, including drop type in 42 patients, ascend type in 37 patients, and flat type in 32 patients. All the patients underwent the drug therapy of extract of ginkgo biloba leaves injection and methylprednisolone, which costed averagelly (11.7±3.0) days. Results:As suggested by Chi-square analysis, the tinnitus effect(x 2 =19.713, P<0.05),the hearing effect(x 2=44.265, P<0.05)and the compositive effect(x2=14.956, P<0.05) were different among the three groups. In short, there was significant difference in the effect on the tinnitus patients with different type audiometric curves. This therapy is the most efficient for the tinnitus patients with ascend type audiometric curve among the three groups. Conclusion:For the tinnitus patients with ascend type audiometric curve, they are recommended the drugs of extract of ginkgo biloba leaves injection and methylprednisolone. However for the tinnitus patients with drop type audiometric curve and with flat type audiometric curve, they do not recommended this therapy.
