The Manifestations Of 11 Cases Of Endobronchial Tuberculosis

Object:The purpose of this paper was to explore the clinical and Bronchoscopes features of Endobronchial tuberculosis(EBTB), to accumulate the experiences in diagnosis and treatment and to reduce the misdiagnosis.Method:We conducted a retrospective analysis of 11 cases of EBTB diagnosed by FOB. To analyze the clinical and Bronchoscopes features, summarize EBTB clinical characteristics and the features of type and lesion location in Bronchoscopes.Result:Before Bronchoscopes examination,11 cases of EBTB were all misdiagnosed for other diseases. The study included 5 females and 6 males with the mean age of 43.07±15.48.6 cases(6/11,54.55%) younger than 40 years old, which with 4 females and 2 males. All cases have cough (100%),72.3%(8/11) cases have irritable cough. The findings of the chest radiography and High resolution computerized tomography (HRCT) had non-specificity. So it cannot do an exactly diagnosis. All cases were diagnosed by Bronchoscopes.45.45%(5/11) cases showed ulcerative-necrosis lesions under Bronchoscope,27.27%(3/11) cases presented granular proliferation lesions; Unilateral lesion in 10(90.91%),with left in 6(54.55%); the lesion located in left main bronchus in 5 cases (5/11,45.45%), left upper bronchus in 5 cases.Conclusion:EBTB occurs mainly in young female, has longer course of disease.The most common complains is irritable cough. Chest radiography and Chest CT are limited to EBTB diagnosis, but Bronchoscopes is an important and necessary method to make exact diagnosis. The lesion's location of EBTB are mostly in unilateral and not a single site, Left main and left upper bronchus are commonly involvement. Ulcerative-necrosis and granular proliferation lesions are the most common types under Bronchoscope. The rate of EBTB misdiagnosis is high because of it has non-specific clinical and imaging manifestations. So when encounter without supporting evidence of suspicious persons, be an early line of bronchoscope is a must.
