ObjectiveTo summarize the clinical features of the treatment in intracranial posterior circulation aneurysms by the Far Lateral Approach.MethodsThe clinical data of 15 patients with posterior circulation aneurysms who were treated by Far lateral approach in our section were analyzed retrospectively. Including: posterior inferior cerebella artery (PICA) aneurysms:9 cases. Vertebral artery aneurysms:3 cases. Basal artery aneurysms:2 cases. Vertebrobasilar artery union aneurysms:1 case.Results:According to the GOS score evaluation, The outcomes were excellent or good in 18 patients,2 were middle disabled, and 1 patient died after the operation.Conclusions:With the development and mature of the Far Lateral Approach, Mastering the anatomical structure and operation skill of Far lateral approach,can expose the posterior circulation aneurysms and its surrounding structure of nerves.it has become an important operation of the posterior circulation aneurysms.
