The Clinical Study About Autologous Lingual Mucosal Graft Urethroplasty For The Treatment Of Anterior Urethral Stricture

[Objective] To evaluate the curative effect and characteristic and to seek a good kind of approach of the autologous lingual mucosal graft urethroplasty for the treatment of anterior urethral strictures.[Methods] A retrospective study Three diagnosed by a long anterior urethral stricture for the cause of the urethritis, urethral trauma, foreign body in urethral, postoperative of the prostate electrocision and urethral sounding in the department of urinary surgery in the second hospital of LanZhou university. Between January 2004 and september 2009,3 cases of long segmented anterior urethral strictures (3.5-6.4 cm, mean 4.5cm) were treated using lingual mucosal graft urethroplasty. The age of the patient from 18 to 47 years (mean 29 years).The case of the history about one year. Preoperative examined the urine flow rate about the low horizontal curve. The urethrocystography examinated all over the patient for the anterior urethral strictures. The surgerious cutted off the cicatricial tissue for have formatived to the normal urethra about one centimeter.The site of the graft harvest is the lateral mucosal lining of the tongue. Grafts were sutured into the urethrotomy defect,[Result] Three case of patients undergoed a successful surgery and without any discomfortable. Postoperative from two to three week, We pulled out the indevelling catheter. They were all voided well after extubation.They have the urination with the line and no other discomfort. Follow-up was obtained for 1 years-2 years post-operatively. In early followed up (within 6 months postoperatively).2 patients voided well and complications developed in 1. Urethrography showed that anterior urethral stricture has been removed.2patients urinary peak follow of 14-34 ml/s. They have no urethral dilations and other complications. Urethral strictures developed in one patient.The patient underwent five urethral dilations, after which he voided well. [Conclusion] The autologous lingual mucosal graft urethroplasty is a good method for the treatment of anterior urethral strictures. It has a good rate of success, drawing easy and simple operation. It has a little ingurious and complications.
