The Transition Of The Syphilid Of Apparent Secondary Syphilis In China

Objective:To investigate and analyze the incidence rate of various kinds of the cutaneous eruptions of apparent secondary syphilis in China and their constituent ratio. Methods:A retrospective comparison and analysis was focused on the incidence rate of various kinds of the cutaneous eruptions of secondary syphilis and their constituent ratio from the literature in 1979 to 1993 and in 1994 to 2008 in China which were searched in CBM,CMCC,CNKI and VIP.Results:The incidences of macule, papule, maculopapule, mucous patch, syphilid palmaris et plantaris and flat condyloma in 1979 to 1993 are higher than those in 1994 to 2008, but the incidence of pustular syphilid in 1979 to 1993 is lower than that in 1994 to 2008. The incidences of baldness in 1979 to 1993 is no significant difference from that in 1994 to 2008. The constituent ratio of various kinds of the cutaneous eruptions of secondary syphilis in 1979 to 1993 differs from that in 1994 to 2008. But the rank of the constituent ratio in 1979 to 1993 and in 1994 to 2008 is the same, the constituent ratio of various kinds of the cutaneous eruptions in order is papule, macule, flat condyloma, maculopapule, mucous patch, syphilitic alopecia and pustular syphilid, and the most common cutaneous eruptions are papule, macule, flat condyloma.Conclusion:The incidence rate of various kinds of the cutaneous eruptions of apparent secondary syphilis in 1994 to 2008 in China and their constituent ratio have changed and the cause may be the wide and irregular use of antibiotics, HIV infection simultaneously, the rising proportion of elderly patients, the use of immunosuppressive agents and so on.
