| Objective:To study the result of cervical spondylotic myelopathy patients after surgery of open-door laminoplasty, and analysis the factors affecting operation.Methods:Review the cases with cervical spondylotic myelopathy treated by open-door laminoplasty in our hospital from 2000 to 2009. Analysis these cases by cervical curvature index (CCI) and cervical vertebrae sagittal diameter. The patients were divided into two groups according the severity, course of disease and complications before the operation. To analyze factors affecting the prognosis.Result:31 patients were study. Before the operation, the vertebrae sagittal diameter was 8.8563±3.68532, it became 14.2716±2.53684 after the operation, significant differents was exist. The CCI of mild cases decrease 0.0568±0.29345,the severe cases decrease 0.0452±0.19865, there was no significant differents. The cervical vertebrae sagittal diameter of mild cases increase 0.6012±0 26643, the severe cases increase 0.6396±0.17569, there was no significant differents. Less than 1 year, CCI decrease 0.0389±0.20536,over lyear,CCI decrease 0.0636±0.19963, significant differents was exist. Less than 1year, cervical vertebrae sagittal diameter increase 0.6452±1.13546, over lyear, cervical vertebrae sagittal diameter increase 0.4845±1.12967, significant differents was exist. Only cervical vertebrae disease, CCI decrease 0.0389±0.30536,with ligaments disease, CCI decrease 0.0535±0.16963, significant differents was exist. Only cervical vertebrae disease, cervical vertebrae sagittal diameter increase 0.6376±0.20236,with ligaments disease, cervical vertebrae sagittal diameter increase 0.5330±0.24961, significant differents was exist.Conclusions:Open-door laminoplasty can decomprese spinal directly, reserve lamina of vertebra, maintain the stability of cervical vertebrae. It is a good therapy to treat cervical spondylotic myelopathy. The course of disease and ligaments disease can affect the result of operation. |
