ObjectiveTo observe the changes of plasminogen activator inhibitor-1 and adiponectin in patients with type 2 diabetes and the relationship with diabetic nephropathy.MethodELISA is used to detect the plasminogen activator inhibitor-1 and adiponectin in 90 type 2 diabetes patiens and 30 healthy adult.Result1. The activity of serum PAI-1 in type 2 diabetes patiens is significant higher than that in healthy adult but the activity of serum ADPN in type 2 diabetes patiens is lower than normal control.2. The activity of serum PAI-1 and ADPN are higher in patients with DN and increase progressively follow the aggravation of the DN.3. Positive correlation are found respectively between serum PAI-1 in DN patients with urinary albumin excretion rate, triglyceride, body mass index and serum creatinine。positive correlation are negative found between serum ADPN with urinary albumin excretion rate and serum creatinine. both of them have negative correlation with blood sugar.ConclusionHigher PAI-1 and lower ADPN are the risk factor of DN, hypertriglyceridemia, fat, blood glucose may play a important role in the activity of PAI-1 and ADPN.
