To prepare Walnut Diaphragm Vaginal Suppository and establish its quality control method.Method:The method of extraction total flavonoids from Semen Juglandis was optimized with the assistant of ultrasonic energy. The optimum extraction conditio-ns of total flavonoids in Semen Juglandis were determined with ort-hogonal test.Four factors below were tested according to the extra-ction yield:ethanol concentration, extraction temperature, the ratio of material to solvent and extraction time. Minimal inhibitory concentration (MIC) of the extracts affecting on bacteria was assayed by tube dilusion. Walnut Diaphragm Vaginal Suppository was prepared with gel, glycerine etc as adjuvants, and the content of Walnut Diaphragm was determined by ultraviolet spectrotometry.Result:The optimum condit-ions of extracting were obtained as follows:50% ethanol as extracti-on solvent at 50℃for 30min,and the ratio of solvent to material was 20:1 and the average content of extraction total flavonoids fro-m Semen Jugland could be reached 4.745% under the optimum pro-cess. Bacteriostasis of the extracts was different.the effect in sequence was extract in ethanol, extract in water. The prepared vaginal suppository was well-shaped and average recovery was 100.12%, RSD为1.85%.Conclusion:The method of extraction total flavonoids from Semen Juglandis with the assistant of ultrasonic energy was simple and good. Bacteriostasis of walnut diaphragm was broad-spectrum. The activity was enriched with extract. The vaginal suppository is easy in preparation, controllable in quality and suitable for clinical use. Objective To evaluate the effects and safety of Adjuvant Chemotherapy for adults with Malignant Glioma. Methods To search PubMed(1966-2008.6),EMBASE(1974-2008.6),The Cochrane Library(2008.1), CNKI ((1994-2008,6)),the Chinese Biomedical Databas(1978-2008.6),VIP (1989-2008.6) and identify randomized controlled trials of Adjuvant Chemotherapy for adults with Malignant Glioma. The quality of included trials was evaluated by two reviewers.Meta-analysis was conducted on homogeneous studies. Results Thirteen studies(3639 patients) were included.Meta-analysis results showed:Compared with radiotherapy alone, adjuvant chemotherapy may increase 1 year survival,2 years survival,2 years progression free survival, OR and 95%CI were 0.61 (0.43,0.87),0.52(0.33, 0.81),0.42(0.19,0.90), respectively.Whereas 1 year progression free survival and 5 years survival had not statistical significance.OR and 95%CI were 0.52 (0.26,1.04),0.75(0.54,1.04)respectively.5 studies (2418 cases) reported that toxicity rates increased in patients who receive radiotherapy plus adjuvant chemotherapy compared with receive radiotherapy alone group. Conclusion Adjuvant chemotherapy may increase one year survival and two years survival, and may have advandage impact on 2 years and 5 years progression free survival.Owing to high possibility of attrition bias and measurement bias in included studies, there must be a negative impact on evidence intensity of our results. To expect best evidence from with high quality randomized control trials. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Semen Juglandis, walnut diaphragm, Total flavonoids, Ultrasonic energy, Method of extraction, Bacteriostasis, Minimal inhibitory concentration (MIC), Walnut Diaphragm, Vaginal suppository, Preparation, Quality control, Adjuvant Chemotherapy, Malignant | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
