| Objective:To investigate the relationship between the serum level of myefoperoxidase (MPO), interleukin-6(IL-6) matrix-metalloproteinase-9(MMP-9) and acute coronary syndrome (ACS).Methods:Serum concertration of myefoperoxidase(MPO), interleukin-6(IL-6) matrix-metalloproteinase-9(MMP-9) were measured in 29 patients with unstable angina pectoris(UAP),31 patients with acute myocardial infarction(AMI),28 control by enzyme-linked imunosorbent assay (ELISA). The relation between MPO, IL-6, MMP-9 was compared. Results:Age, sex, etiological factor (TG,HDL-C,LDL-C) were not obviously variability in AMI, UAP and control groups(P>0.05); Serum concertration of MPO, IL-6, MMP-9 were significantly increased in the AMI and UAP groups in comparison with control groups (P<0.01 or P<0.05); Serum concertration of IL-6 was no significant differences between AMI and UAP groups (P>0.05); The serum level of MPO and MMP-9 was correlated in patients with acute coronary syndrome, the serum level of MMP-9 and IL-6 was correlated in patients with acute coronary syndrome, but the serum level of MPO was not correlated with IL-6.Conclusion:MPO, IL-6, MMP-9 in acute phase of pathophysiological process shoud be as a marker of unstable in acute coronary syndrome; MPO, IL-6 should participate disease-genesis through different pathway in acute coronary syndrome; MMP-9 should be as col-indirect participant betwent MPO and IL-6 in coronary atherosclerosis. |
