Objectives:Discuss acute myocardial infarction (AMI) patients with early changes of hypokalemia and arrhythmia, heart failure, cardiac sudden death. Methods:The 118 has been diagnosed as acute myocardial infarction patients, time of onset less than 24 hours, all patients were first admitted to hospital, who had no history of arrhythmia and heart failure, remove all the effects of disease and drug serum potassium concentration after admission immediate detection of blood and serum potassium concentration, the results of the test group, less than 3.50mmol/L for the hypokalemia group, which (less than 2.50mmol/L severe hypokalemia,2.51mmol/L~3.0mmol/L moderate potassium,3.01~3.50mmol/L mild hypokalemia) 3.51~5.50mmol/L for the normal group. All patients to routine ECG testing and aggressive treatment, observation of arrhythmia, heart failure and sudden cardiac death, recording the patient's age, gender, cholesterol, smoking history, etc., and these were tested.Results:1.118 cases of the occurrence of hypokalemia in patients with AMI was 75%, arrhythmia 70%to 30%higher than the normal group. Which severe hypokalemia, arrhythmia was 100%; moderate hypokalemia,79%; mild hypokalemia,57%.2. Hypokalemia group of heart failure,52%to 20%higher than the normal group. Which severe hypokalemia, heart failure rate was 75%; moderate hypokalemia,60%; mild hypokalemia,40%.3. Hypokalemia group of sudden cardiac death rate was 18%higher than the normal 3%, of which severe hypokalemia, sudden cardiac death rate was 58%; moderate hypokalemia,17%; light degree of hypokalemia, 9%.4. Hypokalemia group and normal group in arrhythmia, heart failure, sudden cardiac death of the Correlation between P<0.05.Conclusion:Acute myocardial infarction prone to hypokalemia, and with lower serum potassium concentration, arrhythmia, heart failure, sudden cardiac death was also significantly increased the incidence.
