| Lots of researches have shown that the built-up of the free radicals has a close relationship with the exercise and training intensity. The increase of the exercise intensity can lead to the built-up of the free radicals and cause the reduction of the antioxidant capacity, which further results in the damage of the structure of cell membrane and instigates the fatigue of the organism. Cinnamomvine is a functional food both in medicine and food with the physiological functions of immune regulation and anti oxidation. The researches on it in the perspectives of medicine and biology has been furthered for a long time, however, both at home and abroad, until now there is no research on whether cinnamomvine can perform the cleaning function on the built-up endogenous free radical produced during the exercise. Through establishing the model of the rat exercise, this test aims to discuss the impact of the cinnamomvine extract on the index of the free radical metabolism of the rat under the strenuous training, thus to provide the experimental references to the application of cinnamomvine extract in the field of sports medicine and the development of the sports nutritious food.In this test, 30 SD female rats are grouped at random into relatively quiet group (Group C), exercising group (Group Y) and exercising group fed with the cinnamomvine extract (Group SY). Each group is raised normally, while Group SY is drenched with the cinnamomvine extract. Then, Group Y and Group SY do the strenuous treadmill exercises by increasing intensity for four weeks and the rat of the two group are immediately killed after the exhaustive exercise in the last treadmill exercise for the purpose of examining the indexes of rats'serum, liver and kidney tissue in Superoxide Dismutase (SOD), Catalase (CAT), Glutathione Peroxidase (GSH-Px) activity, the Total Antioxidant Capacity (T-AOC) and malonaldehyde content (MDA).Results of the test: (1) The cinnamomvine extract can prolong significantly the duration of the high-intensity treadmill exercise to the exhaustion with anti-fatigue effect. (2) The cinnamomvine extract can inhibit the reduction of the CAT activity in the liver, kidney and serum of the rats in exercising group. (3) Supplementing the cinnamomvine extract can inhibit the reduction of the GSH-Px activity in the tissues caused by the exhaustive exercise, which proves that the cinnamomvine extract is able to enhance the GSH-Px activity and reduce the damages of the organism tissues caused by the excessive free radicals produced during the exercise. (4) Supplementing the cinnamomvine extract can reduce the MDA content in the tissues and serum. Meanwhile, there is a remarkable difference in serum, liver and kidney compared with Group Y, which indicates that the cinnamomvine extract can reduce lipid peroxidation damage and enhance the antioxidant capacity. (5) Supplementing the cinnamomvine extract can restrain the reduction of T-AOC activity in tissues and serum of the rats in Group Y. (6) Supplementing the cinnamomvine extract can inhibit the reduction of SOD activity in tissues and serum, which demonstrates that the cinnamomvine extract can enhance antioxidant capacity of the organism. Conclusion: The cinnamomvine extract can eliminate the free radicals produced during the excessive training, improve significantly the antioxidant capacity of the rat's organism, defer the occurrence of fatigue and improve the exercising ability. |
