| Objective1.To investigate the expression of fascin, Tiaml and nm23 in gastric carcinoma.2.To investigate the relationship between the fascin, Tiaml and nm23 and different clinical pathological characteristics.3.To investigate the role of fascin, Tiaml and nm23 in the invasion and metastasis of gastric carcinoma.MethodsTo detect the expression of fascin, Tiaml and nm23 in 60 cases of gastric carcinoma, and 20 cases of normal gastric tissue by immunohistochemical techniques. The data from the experiment were analyzed statistically.Results1.There was no expression of fascin in the normal gastric tissue. The expression of fascin in the gastric carcinoma was 35%(21/60), it was markedly higher than that in normal gastric tissue (P<0.05). The expression of fascin correlated with histological grade, pathological style, TNM staging, serosal invasion, lymphatisis (P<0.05).2.There was no expression of Tiaml in the normal gastric tissue. The expression of Tiam1 in the gastric carcinoma was 67.3%(41/60), it was markedly higher than that in normal gastric tissue (P<0.05). The expression of Tiaml correlated with pathological style, TNM staging, serosal invasion, lymphatisis (P<0.05).3. The expression of nm23 in the normal gastric tissue was 80%. The expression of nm23 in the gastric carcinoma was 51.6%(31/60), it was markedly lower than that in normal gastric tissue (P<0.05).The expression of nm23 correlated with TNM staging, serosal invasion, lymphatisis (P<0.05)4.1n the gastric carcinoma, the expression of fascin was positively correlative with the expression of Tiaml (r=0.349 P=0.006), but was negatively correlative with the nm23 (r=-0.339 P=0.008), the expression of Tiaml was negatively correlative with the nm23(r=-0.3 P=0.02).Conclusion1.The expression of fascin and Tiam1 in the gastric carcinoma were higher than them in normal gastric tissue.2..The expression of fascin, Tiaml and nm23 in gastric carcinoma correlate with the lymph node metastasis of gastrie cancer. fascin,Tiam1 nm23 may cooperatively play a role in the lymph node metastasis of gastric cancer, which may serve as an important indicator of metastasis and prognosis of gastric cancer. |
