Some people deal with several tasks at the same time during the work,rather than complete the tasks arranged of one by one in a linear sequence,such way of the time use we define polychronicity. Researchs about the polychronicity breakthroughs the traditional view of time being linear, single-dimensional and began of time being nonlinear,non single-directional. The concept of polychronicity have been introduced in the field of anthropology,anthropologists described the polychronicity in terms of the idea and the behavior about time. Psychology also research into it,and discover that there is a close relationship between polychronicity and job satisfaction, role conflict, life satisfaction.Objectives:In the first study, we review the reliability and validity of Scale,and examine weather it is about the of the time factor, although the scale is in the perspective of the tasks arrangements.In the second study,we examine weather the Occupation of nurse is a Typically polychronical Work-environment,and greater congruence between preferred polychronicity and experienced work-environment polychronicity will be associated with higher levels of the Perceived Control of Time ,job satisfaction,turnover intentions,and weather the Perceived Control of Time played a mediator role in the relationship of the congruence and the work outcome variables.We survey 231 college students of the Hebei Technology University and 215 nurses of three hospitals in Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province.Conclusions:1. IPV has excellent reliability. 2. IPV could be well referred to the concepts of Hall which Includes many time-related factors. 3. Nurses is the polychronical occupation. 4. In the nurses,the polychronicity had a significantly positive correlation with Perceived Control of Time and job satisfaction;and not have significantly correlation with turnover intention. 5.Congruence between preferred polychronicity and experienced work-environment polychronicity can significantly predict perceived control of time,job satisfaction,and turnover intentions. At the same time, perceived control of time played a mediator role of the relation between the congruence and the work outcome variables.
