Stellera chamaejasme L. is a member of thymelaeaceae family. It is serious harmful for the animal as a toxic grass need to be weeded. Recent investigation found that stellera chamaejasne L. has a significant effect on sheep scabies, so we study the stellera chamaejasne L. to extract, isolate, purified and identified the bioactive components of it.We carried out the study on chemical constituents of the root of. stellera chamaejasne L.In present study, the root of stellera chamaejasne L was extracted by 95% ethanol. Three compounds have been isolated and purified by utilizing column chromatography, preparative TLC and recrystallization techniques. The structures of three compounds have been identified by IR, 1D NMR (1HNMR,13CNMR),2D NMR (HSQC, HMBC) and reference literatures. They are Umbelliferone (1), Dauvosterol (3),β-sitosterol(4) respectively.2-Cyanohistamine,2-Acetoxybenzonitrile, N-Cyclohexylidene-2-carbamylcyclohex-1-eny-lamine,9H-Fluorene-9 -methylene-,4,4'-methylenebis-Phenol,6-hydroxy-Benzopyran-2-one, (R,R,R)-2,4,6-trimethyl-11-Dodecen-l-ol,3,5-difluorophenyl undecyl ester,2,5-bis(1,1-dimethylethyl)-Phenol, 4-hydroxy-Benzaldehyde, Butylated Hydroxytoluene were identified from the genus of the root of stellera chamaejasne L for the first time by GC-MS.
