| Moxibustion, one kind of most ancient traditional Chinese Medicine therapies, is a part of Puncture Therapeutics and has a long history. It is very good to our health not only from traditional Chinese Medicine aspect but also in modern clinic. Moxibustion has some shortcomings, such as insecurity, discommodiousness, pollution from smog on the process of mugwort's burning and low penetrative rate to the skin. So people have being trying to research moxibustion instrument.Many problems exist in the research of present moxibustion instrument, which include nonuniform principle of moxibustion, how to control the dosage of laser and realize different moxibustion technique, etc. The purpose of this paper is to overcome these shortcomings and research a new kind of laser moxibustion instrument which is based on the principle of moxibustion and the laser induced temperature distribution in bio-tissue. The galvanometer system is applied to realize different kinds of moxibustion technique. Here are main jobs this paper has done.(1) Discussion about the principle of moxibustion. Moxibustion is a process affected by multiple factors. Its principle is so complicated that scientists in this area never agree with a same theory. The core of this problem is infrared radiation spectrum of mugwort's burning during the therapy. Based on the infrared radiation spectrum tested in different condition by different author, this paper says the effect of moxibustion is a combination of light's heat stimulation and penetration, with the medicinal effect of mugwort. The temperature-time curves of indirect moxibustion and its effect on porcine meat are recorded for a further research of the moxibustion induced heat effect in bio-tissues. With the theory of moxibustion principle, light source of laser moxibustion instrument should select near-infrared laser which has both thermal and non-thermal effects. The drug effect is achieved by extracting oil from mugwort to smeare on the surface of skin.(2) Research of laser induced temperature distribution in bio-tissue. Temperature distribution of laser irradiating on vitro bio-tissue is calculated using FET numerical method based on classical bio heat transfer Pennes function. The chosen laser is 808nm wavelength which is the light source of moxibustion instrument. Overcoming the difficulty of loose, poriferous and uneven bio-tissue, author designed bio-tissue temperature measurement system. Experiment was carried out to validate calculated data. Results indicate that calculated data is close to the experimental one. The temperature distribution on the process of laser irradiating on human skin is calculated. Results are further discussed respectively when laser power, size of laser and irradiating time are different.(3) Research of moxibustion instrument which can realize different moxibustion technique. For making a smaller and easy-to-take instrument, galvanometer system is using to realize different laser track on human skin. MSP430F149 MCU is used to control the whole system. Hardware system is designed. Line and arc track driver program is written using C language. |
