| Sponge associated microorganisms are important sources for natural products, especially sponge-derived fungi can produce diverse novel natural products. In our previous research, two strains of Aspergillus versicolor TS08 and Penicillium sp. 10-1 were isolated from marine sponge Theonella swinhoei and Hippospongia canaliculata var. cylindrica respectively, which were found to have multiple antimicrobial activities.Seven compounds were isolated from Asperqillus versicolor TS08, including a new compound, 5-methyl-5-(2'-hydroxy-4'-methylphenyl)-2(3H)-dihydrofuran-2-one (Compoundâ… ). The other 6 compounds include a known compound Cyclo(L-Trp-L-Phe) (Compoundâ…¡), which was isolated from sponge associated fungi firstly, and five known compounds: Ergosterol(Compoundâ…¢), Ergosterol peroxide(Compoundâ…£),6-methylsalicylic acid ( Compoundâ…¤) ,(4S)-3,4-Dihydro-4,8-dihydroxy-l(2H)-naphthalenone(Compoundâ…¥),3,3'-dihydroxy-5,5'-dimethyldiphenyl ether(Compoundâ…¦). Four compounds were isolated from Penicillium sp. 10-1, includingtwo new compounds, Penicilliumlactone ( Compoundâ…§) and Penicilliumoxirane(Compoundâ…¨). The other 3 known compounds: Pyrocatechol ( Compoundâ…©) , p-Tolualdehyde (Compoundâ…ª) ,p-hydroxybebzoic acid(Compoundâ…«). |
