Research The Endometriosis Clinical Application Of The Model Of Diagnosis And Treatment Of Differentiation Of Physique, Disease And Syndrome

Endometriosis (EMs) is a common and frequent disease for reproductive age women. EMs which has multiplicity etiology, complicated pathogenesis, complex disease, and obstinacy illness seriously effect the quality of life, and the incidence of EMs has been increasing year after year. Although the term endometriosis was not record in ancient books of TCM, it can be classified into "dysmenorrheal" "irregular menstruation" "abdominal mass" and "infertility" in TCM according to its main clinical features. Western medicine on the treatment of EMs is not satisfied. It has a long treatment cycle, limited treatment, obvious side effects, high recurrence rate and many other issues. TCM treatment of this disease has a positive effect and broad prospects for development.The model of differentiation of physique, disease and syndrome is a clinical diagnostic and treatment model which reflects the nature, regulation, characteristics of the disease from different angles and different levels. My tutor, Professor Hou Lihui has more than 30 years of clinical experiences in obstetrics and gynecology, and concentrates on the study of diagnosis and treatment of gynecological disease. My tutor applies the model to the clinical diagnosis and treatment of obstetrics and gynecology, and the effect is quite good. In this model, the main line is"first to differentiate the disease, then the syndrome, finally the physique". The combination of disease and syndrome and the differentiation of physique difference are two longitudinal lines which throughout the whole process. Using the combination of WM disease and TCM syndromes determines the basic syndromes factor, and using the theory of prescriptions corresponding to syndromes determines the basic prescription. In the treatment, three methods that include the method of transforming basic prescription, the method of invigorating kidney and regulating the menstrual cycle, and the method of administrating drugs after differentiation of individual physique difference, are combined as the basic principle of treatment. These form a complete set of diagnostic and treatment system which is effective and easy to transmit.I feel the method is easy to grasp, comprehensive to consider, highlight the emphasis, and learn a lot in clinical study. Now we apply the model to the clinical diagnosis and treatment in obstetrics and gynecology especially in endometriosis to explore and summarize as follow.
