Objective:We probed into the pathogeny and clinical characteristics of phlegm-heat CCCI, then discussed relevance between phlegm-heat CCCI and phlegm-heat stoke. Method:First, by combing both the ancient and modern literature, and using method of clinical investigation, we obtained correlation datas. Then applying SPSS 16.0 statistical software to analyze the datas, we found relevant factors and characteristics of phlegm-heat CCCI. On this basis, analyzed the results above-mentioned combined with traditional Chinese medicine theory. Result:The male sex, in dietary preference (pungent, greasy and saline), lack of movement, smoking, over drink, obesity and abdominal obesity, snoring, hypertension, as well as dyslipidemia are relevant factors which can promote the formation of phlegm-heat syndrome of CCCI. Expectoration, red-clingage face, corpulent body, red tongue and greasy yellow tongue, coating slippery pulse are clinical characteristics of phlegm-heat CCCI. Conclusion:The phlegm-heat is a main pathological factor of CCCI. Phlegm-heat disturbance of brain is the key to pathogenesis of CCCI. Intervening the relevant factors is the fundamental path to decrease CCCI, while changing unreasonable lifestyle is the key point. The phlegm-heat is the common pathological factor of CCCI and stoke. Identification phlegm-heat CCCI and actively treatment are significant to prevent stoke.
