Objective:To confirm the value and the mechanism of conditioning the liver and invigorate the spleen, resolving phlegm and blood circulation cure through the clinical observation of Impaired Glucose Tolerance. Methods:120 patients of Impaired Glucose Tolerance were randoml divided into treatment group (60 cases) and control group (60 cases). All subjects are accepted, before the start of the observation, education about IGT knowledge and popularization of knowledge of behavioral intervention. The control group without drug,the treatment group had conditioning the liver and invigorate the spleen, resolving phlegm and blood circulation cure effectiveness of Herbal Medicine. Observation period is 3 months.The main observed indicator is clinical symptoms, glucose, blood lipids, glycated hemoglobin, insulin levels, body mass index, high-sensitivity C-reactive protein, tumor necrosis factor and so on. Results:The treatment group is evidently different from the control group in fasting and postprandial blood glucose, body mass index, high-sensitivity C-reactive protein, tumor necrosis factor, clinical symptom score(P< 0.05). During the medication did not find adverse reactions. Conclusion:The conditioning the liver and invigorate the spleen, resolving phlegm and blood circulation cure can reduce the elevated fasting and postprandial blood glucose of the patients with IGT; reduce body mass index; improve insulin resistance; can significantly improve clinical symptoms in patients with IGT. Drug safety, there is the value of clinical practice.
