| Neural system is the dominant system of human being, which controls all the organs and tissues of the body. Neural system function is associated with many organ disease including diabetic mellitus, uremia and so on, which can cause the disorder of sensory function. Hence, neural system detection is not only the method of finding out neural disease, but also will be helpful for other organ disease diagnosis. The most commonly used method for neural system detection is quantitative sensory testing, which requires the subjects'reports and is influenced by subjects. Presently quantitative sensory testing is a failure to examine persons who have communication difficulties. So it's necessary to find out a more objective way to detect neural system without subjects'influence. Scientific studies have shown that outside specific stimulus will induce corresponding electrical activities called event-related potential in the cerebral cortex. This paper studies whether event-related potential is an objective indicator of perceiving outside stimulus and can be used to measure human current perception threshold. In the research, single channel event-related potentials extracted from healthy subjects on current perception testing are processed by two different algorithms. Current perception threshold can be obtained efficiently by support vector machine classification algorithm statistically and transductive confidence machine algorithm. Furthermore A comparison of three different current perception threshold measurements is made. Study shows that current perception threshold measurement based on electroencephalograph is proven available and is promising for clinical application. |
