| Objective:To explore the relationship between syndromes of traditional Chinese medicine and depression in patients with mild cognitive impairment and also improve the MCI's clinically study by traditional Chinese medicine.Methods:In this study,114 long-stay elderly retired cadres were selected by the clinical memory scale (CMS),the Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE), Hachinski ischemia index score table (HIS),Blessed behavior scale and Anxiety Scale (SAS) and self-rating depression scale (SDS) from the May 2009 to January 2009 in the Chengdu old-age disease hospital (The second nursing home of Chengdu), They are were divided into normal group, MCI group According to the international accepted diagnostic criteria, last it was carried out sub-type syndromes by Chinese dialectical. So as to comprehensive evaluation of depression factors associated with syndromes of traditional Chinese of mild cognitive impairment.Rusults:Through the initial screening and the associated scale tests, we excluded 38 old people which do not meet the inclusion criteria, included 31 normal people and MCI 45 patients, It is a significant difference that the SDS scores and the SAS scores of the MCI group compared the normal group (P<0.05)and the SDS scores and the SAS scores of syndromes of traditional Chinese medicine of the MCI group compared the normal group (P<0.05).Conclusion:There is some relevance between syndromes of traditional Chinese medicine and depression in patients with mild cognitive impairment. |
