ObjectiveIn the project, the KLK10 protein is examinated in order to indicate the location, distribution of the KLK10 protein in cervical cancer cells, and the relationship between the KLK10 protein expression and the clinico -pathological features. Moreover, the role of KLK10 protein in the development of cervical cancers and the relationships among KLK10 protein, the clinicopathological manifestation and the prognosis, makes it theory evidence for the prognosis and early diagnosis of cervical cancer.Methods1 Expression of KLK10 protein was analysed by immunohisto-chemistry in paraffin embedded 44 cervical carcinomas, 12 cervical intraepithelial neoplasia(CIN) and 10 nomal cervical tissue, and the results were studied in correlation with clincopathological characteristics of patients.2 Statistical treat: All experimental data from expression of KLK10 protein and clinicopathological index were processed by spss17.0. The categorical data is analyzed by Fisher's exact test of probabilities and chi-square test. And the measurement data analyzed by T test. There was a stastistical significance when P<0.05.Results1 The KLK10 protein located in cytoplasm of the cervical cancer cells, cervical intraepithelial neoplasia(CIN) and the normal cervix tissue .2.The positive rate expression of KLK10 protein was observed in cervical cancer, CIN and normal cervical tissue, respectively 72.7%,70.0%,25.0%. The grey-scale value in three groups ascends successively , 130.10±19.67 , 134.87±31.84 , 178.43±29.40. The positive rate and the grey--scale value respectively are analysed by statistical methods. The expression of KLK10 protein in CIN or cervical cancer cells is respectively significantly higher than that in normal cervical tissue. However, there is no stastistical significance in the expression of KLK10 protein in CIN or cervical cancer cells(P>0.05).3 The imparied expession of the KLK10 protein was significantly related to clinical stage , pathological type , lymph node metastasis but not related to age , histological grade, vascular space invasion and invasive depth.Conclusion1 Expression of KLK10 protein in cervical cancer and CIN are more highly than that in normal cervical tissue. It indicates that the KLK10 protein maybe related to the development of cervical cancers and used as a tumor biomarker.2 The expression of the KLK10 protein was significantly related to clincal stage, pathological type and lymph node metastasis, indicating that it is maybe related to development and prognosis of cervical cancer .It may becomes the biomarker in state of early diagnosis of cervical cancer, and provides theoretics for cervical cancer.
