| Objective: The paper focuses on the clinical curative effect of treating chronic congestive heart failure (CHF) by cocculus decoction add-subtract therapy and preliminarily explores its function mechanism. In the mean while, according to clinical experiment research, the paper also discusses the effect of cocculus decoction add-subtract on LVEF, LVFS, E, A, E?A index in the cardiac ultrasound inspection to the CHF patients.Methods: 60 CHF patients of NYHA cardiac function classification on gradeâ…¡~gradeâ…¢are selected randomly and divided into the conventional therapy group (control group) and cocculus decoction add-subtract therapy group (therapy group). Then observe the effect of cocculus decoction add-subtract therapy for 2 weeks on the left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF), left ventricular fractional shortening (LVFS), early and late diastolic filling velocities and their ratio (E, A and E / A) effect .Results: Two group always have no significant difference (P> 0.05) on total efficiency in the improvement of cardiac function, however, the significant efficiency therapy group was significantly higher than control group (P <0.05); the therapy group is superior to the control group (P <0.05) in the curative effect of TCM symptoms and symptom scores; in the echocardiogram, the two groups were significantly different in both prior and post therapy (P <0.01); in the comparison between two groups after post-treatment, the therapy group has a better performance on changing the peak of EF, FS, and A (0.01 0.05).Conclusion: Cocculus decoction add-subtract is considered a clinically safe and effective Chinese medicine herbal soup in the treatment of chronic congestive heart failure and getting a better clinical effect; Cocculus decoction add-subtract has the synergy with Western medicine conventional treatment, which can enhance curative effect, improve cardiac function and stabilize patient's condition and improve the patient's exercise tolerance and life quality. Its mechanism may be relative to nerve body fluid adjustment and the improvement of left ventricular function and so on, which is worthy of further research. |
