Background and puepose:With the development of our national economy, our life have alrealy undergone great changes.Because of the dietary and lifestyle vriables, The occurryence of cerebral infarction has been increasing year after year. Age at diagnosis of cerebral infarction is trending young. The most effective methods of controlling cerebral infarction incidence is seeke for the all risk factors . More and more studies show, the carotid atherosclerosis is the leading cause of cerebrovascular diseases . Recently,The formation and development of the atherosclerosis is a low chronic inflammatory disease. Infections continue to be a signficiant cause of atherosclerosis. We speculate that the disorder of an artery internal mucous leads to atherosclerosis factor heighten what can eventually leads to endotnelial injury. It will lead to inflammation. The chronic inflammatory response of blood vessel wall is an important pathological process of the occurrence of atherosclerosis desease. Blood high sensitive C-reactive protein is a sensitive indicator for the inflammation .Blood uric acid can improve expression of C-reactive protein in blood vessel wall. So high sensitive C-reactive protein and uric acid have the importance risk of atherosclerosis and cerebrovascular diseases. For this reason, to find original risk factors and to control them as early as possible is very important to change the preventiom and cure of cerebral infarction .We discuss the relationship of carotid artery, blood uric acid and high sensitive C-reactive protein to cerebral infarction by transcranial color Doppler and uric acid,high sensitive C-reactive protein detection.And then to provide new theory for the prevention and cure of atherosclerosis and cerebral infarction. Methods:The transcranial color Dopple ,were proformed on all the 160 patients with cerebral infarction from May.2010 to Oct.2010. According to the ultrasound examination ,all patients with cerebral infarction were divided into atherosclerotic group(131 subjects)and non-atherosclerotic group(29 subjects).Then,According to the degree of atherosclerotic,the patients with atherosclerotic infarction were divided into the thicken of carotid intima-media group(35 subjects),the formation of athero- sclerotic plaque group (67 subjects)and carotid artery stenosis group(29 subjects).We assessed and analyzed the high sensitive C-reactive protein,blood uric acid and other risk factors of atherosclerosis and cerebrovascular disease.The aim was to study and research the relationship of cerebral infarction and carotid atherosclerotic plaques, high sensitive C-reactive protein,blood uric acid.Results:1.Non-carotid atherosclerotic were found in 29 of all 160 patients with cerebral infarction, the incidence rate was 18.13%, and the carotid atherosclerotic had 131 subjects .The incidence rate was 81.87%. The result was that the carotid atherosclerotic incidence rate was higher than non- carotid atherosclerotic in the cerebral infarction.2.The thicken of carotid intima-media were detected in 35(26.72%) of all the 131 patients who were carotid atherosclerotic, and carotid atherosclerotic plaques were detected in 67 patients(51.15%),and carotid artery stenosis were found in 29 patients(22.13%).3.The incidence of the left atherosclerosis was higher than the right. And carotid atherosclerosis plaques were common in the bifurcation ,followed by common carotid artery .It was rare to find in internal carotid artery and vertebral artery.4. Blood high sensitive C-reactive protein and blood uric acid of atherosclerosis group were higher significantly than that in non- atherosclerosis group. The high sensitive C-reactive protein and blood uric acid level were markly correlated with the degree of atherosclerosis in atherosclerosis group.Conclusions:1.Different vascular part have different the incidence of atherosclerosis. It was more common in the bifurcation, especially in the left side,followed by common carotid artery .It was rare to find in internal carotid artery and vertebral artery.2. Blood high sensitive C-reactive protein and blood uric acid improved atherosclerosis formation. The high sensitive C-reactive protein and blood uric acid level were markly correlated with the degree of atherosclerosis.3. The high level of blood uric acid and high sensitive C-reactive protein are may be one of the risk factors of the carotid atherosclerosis and cerebral infarction .
