| Objective To summarize the clinical effect of reversed sural neurovascular fasciocutaneous flap for reconstruction of soft tissue defect of heel .To approach the clinical character of sural neurovascular fasciocutaneous flap .Methods From February 2004 to January 2011,there were 14cases with soft tissue defects by all kinds of causes in the heel were repaired by using. reversed sural neurovascular fasciocutaneous flap., The flap area ranged from 6cm×5cm to 15cm×11 cm, and the length of pedicle from 5 cm to 12 cm..Results In the 14 cases, there are 12 cases'flaps were survived and the raw surface was healed well. Only 1 cases encountered with partial necrosis of marginal flap but healed after dressing..Anather 1 case with partial necrosis of distant flap but healed after expand operation again and dermatoplasty.12 cases were followed up for 2 months to 5 years. The texture elasticity and appearance of the flaps were excellent, it is not obvious unfit when you step on..Conclusion Antidromic island flap providing blood supply by sural's nerver is easy to design. The operation is simple, and without sacrifice of major arteries, and need not to coincide blood vessel, and the flap can have longer pedicle which can be rotated actively. So it have high survival rate. It is a good method to repair the soft tissue defect of heel. |
