The Clinical Study On Efficacy Of Body-acupunction Combing With Scalp Acupuction For Bell's Palsy

Purpose:To evaluate the clinical efficiency and safety of scalp points combining with body acupuncture treatment of Bell palsy,through a clinical studies,thus providing an effective acupuncture treatment conducive to the promotion.Methods:There are 70patients involved in this trial.All patients were randomly divided into a scalp acupuncture combined needle group (treatment group) and a body acupuncture group(control group).The treatment group add scalp points compared with the control group,the points located on the first bilateral frontal and temporal former slash under two fifths..The House-Brackmann Global Scores and FDI Scores.were applied to evaluate the facial function before treatment and after 4 treatment course.Acupuncture was performed 10 times a course,,and fore courses were done for each patient.Result:1.The level from baseline of the treatment group was comparable to the control group(P>0.05).2.The treatment of the two groups after 4courses of treatment compared with those before treatment,differences were statistically signficant(P<0.05).3.The treatment of the two groups after 4 course of treatment compared with each other,differences were statistically signficant(p<0.05).4.The treatment of the two groups for moderate Bell paralysis,differences were statistically signficant (p<0.05).Conclusion:1.The scalp acupuncture has the advantage of higher curative effect and shorter period of treatment.The treatment group is better than the control group.2.The scalp acupuncture combining with body acupuncture treating moderate paralysis Bell has good enfficiency.3.Patients with Bell facial paralysis with different severity of disease have different recovery,the lighter the better.4.The scalp acupuncture combining body acupucture treating severe paralysis Bell is relatively easy and convenient for applying,thus beneficial for clinical practice.
