Objective:To observe the changes of adiponectin, visfatin, high sensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP) in patients with metabolic syndrome and the impact of rosuvastatin on them. To discuss the impact of rosuvastatin on inflammatory factors in patients with metabolic syndrome.Methods:21 patients were enrolled in normal control group,53 patients with metabolic syndrome were randomly enrolled into test group (27 patients were taking rosuvastatin calcium, 10mg/night on the basis of conventional antihypertensive therapy) and control group (26 patients were taking conventional antihypertensive therapy), Seperately blood samples were taken Before or 4-6 weeks after treatment to investigate adiponectin, visfatin, hs-CRP.Results:1. Adiponectin:The adiponectines of before the test group and before and after the control group were lower than the normal control group, The differences between the groups were statistically significant (P<0.05); The test group test adiponectin was higher than before the test and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05);The adiponectin of the test group was higher than the group 3 after the treatment and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05) (the difference of before the two groupes was no statistically significant); The adiponectin after treatment in the control group was statistically different compared with the test group (P<0.05)2. Visfatin:The visfatin of test group and control group were higher than normal control group, both before and after experiment differences between the groups were statistically significant(P<0.05); Thet test group test visfatin was lower than before the test, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05); The control group test visfatin was higher than before the test, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05); The visfatin of the test group was lower than the control group after the treatment and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05) (the difference of before the two groupes was no statistically significant); The visfatin after treatment in the control group was statistically different compared with the test group. (P<0.05)3. High sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP):The hs-CRP of the test group and the control group were higher than normal control group, both before and after experiment differences between the groups were statistically significant (P<0.05); The test group test hs-CRP was lower than before the test, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05); The control group test hs-CRP was higher than before the test, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05); The hs-CRP of the test group was lower than the control group after the treatment and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05) (the difference of before the two groupes was no statistically significant); The hs-CRP after treatment in the control group was statistically different compared with the test group (P<0.05)4. Correlation analysis showed:Visfatin and body mass index (BMI) correlation coefficient was 0.449, P=0.016, statistically significant (P<0.05)Conclusion:1. The level of adiponectin significantly decreased in patients with metabolic syndrome, but high sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) and visfatin significantly increased. 2. Visfatin and body mass index (BMI) were positively correlated with statistical significance (P<0.05)3. Rosuvastatin can make serum adiponectin levels significantly increased but make serum visfatin and high sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) levels reduced in patients with metabolic syndrome, and there differences were statistically significant; The high sensitivity C-reactive protein was positively correlated trend with the visfatin but was negatively correlated trend with adiponectin.
