The objects were divided into internet game addiction group(194) and non-addicts group(181) according to score of Young's Internet Addiction Scale and Game Addiction Scale. All students were investigated with the scale of FES-CV and Aggression Questionnaire.Chi-square test was performed to test whether there was significant difference in internet game addiction rate between male students and female students. ANOVA of complete randomized design was applied to analyze the difference in scores of scale of FES-CV and scores of aggressive behavior among different grades. Two sample mean t-test was used to compare the difference of scores of FES-CV and aggressive behavior between internet game addiction group and non-addicts group. The difference of scores of FES-CV between high aggression score group and low aggression score group was tested with two sample mean t-test. The relation between scores of aggressive behavior and scores of family environment factors was analyzed with multiple linear regression analysis. The joint effect of Internet game addiction and family environment on aggressive behavior was analyzed with factorial experiment.Results1. 51.7% university students in internet cafes around university were internet game addiction. Internet game addiction rate was higher in male university students than that in female university students (P<0.01).2. There was statistically significant difference between male students and female students on the scores of aggressive behavior, physical aggression, anger and hostility (P<0.05). There was not statistically significant difference between male and female on the scores of family environment (P>0.05).3. There was statistically significant difference between internet game addiction group and non-addicts group on the scores of aggressive behavior (P<0.01).There was statistically significant difference between internet game addiction group and non-addicts group on the scores of cohesion, expressiveness, conflict, independence, achievement orientation, active-recreational orientation, moral-religious emphasis and organization of family (P<0.05). There was positive correlation between the scores of aggressive behavior and the scores of internet game addiction scale (P<0.01).4. There was statistically significant difference between high aggressive behavior score group and low aggressive behavior score group on the scores of cohesion, expressiveness, conflict, active-recreational orientation, organization and control of family. The scores of family cohesion, expressiveness, active-recreational orientation and organization in high score of aggression behavior group were lower than that in low aggressive behavior score group (P<0.01). The scores of family conflict and control in high aggressive behavior score group were higher than that in low aggressive behavior score group (P<0.01). Multiple linear regression analysis indicated that cohesion, intellectual-cultural orientation, conflict, control and organization of family entered the model.5. The joint effect of internet game addiction and cohesion, conflict, intellectual-cultural orientation, control of family on aggressive behavior was synergistic effect. Interaction were respectively: 3.58,3.42,3.56,4.73(P<0.01).Conclusion1. 51.7% of the college students are internet game addiction.2. Internet game addiction is one of the dangerous factors which lead to aggressive behavior.3. Cohesion, conflict, intellectual-cultural orientation, organization, control of family are the influencing factors of aggressive behavior.4. Cohesion, expressiveness, conflict, independence, achievement orientation, active-recreational orientation, moral-religious emphasis and organization of family are influencing factors of internet game addiction.5. The joint effect of internet game addiction and cohesion, conflict, intellectual-cultural orientation, control of family on aggressive behavior is synergistic effect. |
