| Objective:To study acupuncture treatment methods'influence on the amino acid content in serum which was from the spasticity of paralysed limbs after stroke.Methods:64 cases were randomly divided into a electroacupuncture group (observation group) (n=33) and a handy acupuncture group (control group)(n=31),both of the two groups used bobath facilitation technique and drug treatments,and on the basis of handy acupuncture,the observation group conducted electroacupuncture technique. We conducted the functional evaluation by the rehabilitation medicine's methods of Brunnstrom,Stroke Impairment Assessment Set(SIAS) and Ashworth, conducted the evaluation of therapeutic efficiency by《diagnosis-treatment criteria of stroke》,and checked the Glu and GABA's content in serum before and after the treatment by high-efficiency liquid chromatography. Results:(1) After treatment,the Brunnstrom scores of the observation group was better than the control group,and there was a significant difference between them(p<0.01);(2) After treatment,the recovery of SIAS in the observation group was better than in the control group, and there was a difference between them(p<0.05);(3) The Ashworth scores after treatment were both elevated,but recovery of spasticity in the observation group was better than in the control group (p<0.05)(4) Before and after the treatment,the Glu's content in serum and Glu/GABA's results were all lower in the two groups,but GABA's content in serum was upper,and all of them had significant differences (P<0.01), after the treatment, the Glu and GABA's content between the two groups had significant differences (P<0.01), and Glu/GABA's results had a difference (P<0.05), it just showed that the observation group's treatment effect was better than the control group;(5) According to the results of evaluation ofrehabilitation, the total effective rate was 90.91% in the observation group and 83.87% in the control group, and there was a difference between them(P<0.05); Conclusion:Electroacupuncture has a good effect on the spasticity of paralysed limbs after stroke, it's function mechanism is may relative to ajusting the Glu and GABA's content in serum. |
