Dragon's blood is rooted from Dracaenacoch inch inensis(Lour.)S. C. Chen. It's extracted by ethanol from its hadromestome which contains ester. Dragon's blood is equal effective in pharmaco-and clinical with the imported "Imperial Crown" brand ones.Dragon's blood is traditional Chinese medicine, it is tasted sweet, salty and has a warm and common character. It has the effect of promoting blood flow, detumescence, blood preventing and blood enriching. It's usually used in MED, surgery and many kinds of blood disease. Objective:Investigating the species of the original plant of sanguis draxonis medicine. Inspecting the methods, with which the content of effective component, loureirin B, of Resina draconis can be measured. Meanwhile, the content of sanguis draxonis loureirin B in some artificial induction of dragon's blood was measured. Chemical composition of dragon's blood was studied. The study on the anti-inflammatory activities of artificial induction of dragon's blood was operated.Details of the study:1 Identification of resource of dragon's blood plant;2. Study on chemical composition of Resina draconis; 3. Comparison study of chemical composition between artificial and wild induction of dragon's bloodMethods:Reference search of original dragon's blood plant was performed., Moreover, the chemical composition of the dragon's blood was studied in this paper., he methodological study was carried out to determine the method which could be used to determine the content of the major effective component, loureirin B, contained in Resina draconis. Inspecting the methods, with which the content of effective component, loureirin B, of Resina draconis can be measured.. The content of sanguis draxonis loureirin B in some artificial induction of dragon's blood was measured by means of high performance liquid chromatograph. Moreover, the chemical composition of the dragon's blood was studied in this paper.Results:_he references suggested that the formal sample of dragon's blood in ancient China should come from Africa. After The Silk Road in recession and voyage in booming, the formal sample obtained from African dracaena of agavaceae was replaced by the red resin of Daemonorops plant fruit found in Southeast Asia. According to the separation of the chemical component of the dragon's blood, five compounds were found in the parts of chloroform, ethyl acetate and normal butanol, which makes foundation for the further animal pharmacological experiment.Chemical compositions between artificial and wild induction of dragon's blood has been compared, which provided evidence for whether the artificial induction can instead of the wild ones. Conclusions:Six different kinds of compounds have been separated from the dragon blood. Meanwhile, the artificial dragon blood has the very similar chemical composition as the original ones. The exact content of the Loureirin B, however, can't be confirmed yet.
