Objective:To investigate the alcohol drinking behaviour and alcohol-related injury risk behaviour of college students in Guangzhou, and explore the influential factors of alcohol-related injury risk behaviours.Provide basises of how to monitor and prevent college students' alcohol-related injury.Method:1362 college students from 8 different universities in Guangzhou was investigated, with a questionnaire that include AUDIT(alcohol use disorders identification test), Sensation Seeking Scale for Chinese undergraduate, and a self-designed part. Epidata3.0 was used to input data,database SPSS 16.0 was used to analyze influencing factors.Results:Prevalence of alcohol drinking among respondents is 65.8%.College drinkers'drinking pattern is mainly the occasionally drinking and mild drinking(69.9%). There are 45.9% of college drinkers have had alcohol-related injury risk behaviours;2.2% college students were injured because of drinking in the past year. College students with higher sensation seeking personality consume more alcoholic beverages, has more alcohol-related injury risk behaviour.Classification tree analysis and logistic regression were conduct. In the logistic regression analysis:gender, age of drinking onset, types of University, major and grade, drinking site and time, were found to be independent influential factors of college students' alcohol drinking behaviour. And according to the classification tree analysis results:being a male, with higher sensation seeking personality, having excessive drinking behaviour, drinking at weekends and the end of semester, drinking in the bar are risk factors for alcohol-related injury risk behaviour of college students.Conclusion:The college students who has higher sensation seeking personality are more prone to be heavy drinkers and more dangerous to be injured after drinking.The gender of college students and their drinking site,time and occasion has the profound influence for their alcohol drinking and alcohol-related injury risk behaviours. There are common influential factors of all kinds of alcohol-related injury risk behaviour among college students, but also unique risk factors of each kind of them.So the prevention should be target refined.
