| Objective:To investigate the curative effect of absorbing atomization of Tan Re Qing injection, a Chinese herbal compound, on respiratory inflammation and preventing postoperative lung complications after the operation of endotracheal intubation under general anesthesia.Method:The 60 patients met the requirements were randomly divided into treatment group and control group, each of 30 cases. Besides the conventional antibiotic therapy and supportive care given to both groups, the treatment group was treated with oxygen atomization of Tan Re Qing injection and the control group with oxygen atomization of Mucosolvan injection, twice a day and 30 minutes each time. From the first day to the fifth day after the operation, the mitigation of throat pain, hoarseness, cough and expectoration of the patients as well as lung infections during drug treatment were observed. Results:On the fifth day after the operation, the total effect rate of the mitigation of throat pain and hoarseness in the treatment group was 96.67%, while the control group attained 70.00%; the total effect rate of the mitigation of cough and expectoration in the treatment group was 96.67%, while that in the control group was 93.33%. From the first day to the fifth day after the operation, the total effect rate of throat pain and hoarseness in the treatment group was higher than that in the control group (P<0.05). With such great difference, it was statistically significant. On the other hand, in the case of the mitigation of cough and expectoration, the rates were close in both groups (P>0.05) with no significant difference. During the drug treatment, both groups reported no case of lung infection thus it was of no statistical significance. Conclusions:After the operation of endotracheal intubation under general anesthesia, based on the conventional antibiotic therapy and supportive care, inhalation of oxygen atomization of Tan Re Qing injection can ease throat pain and hoarseness more effectively than Mucosolvan. At the same time, it can also effectively ease the symptoms of postoperative cough and expectoration, close to the clinical effect of Mucosolvan. Other than those, it may have some effect on prevent postoperative lung complications. |
