Group B was treated with catgut embedding in points, once every 5 days, four times in all. Acupoints chosen in group A were as follows:Guanyuan(CV4), bilateral Sanyinjiao(SP6)and bilateral Shenshu(BL23). Group C was infused with Nilestriol 5ml/kg(lmg/kg)once every 5 days, four times in all. Group A,D and E were infused with water 5ml/kg once every 5 days, four times in all. Pituitary weight coefficient:Compared with sham group, pituitary weight coefficient of the embedding group, drug group and ovariectomized model group were reduced, there was very significant differences (P<0.01);among them, ituitary weight coefficient of normal group was the highest, ovariectomized model group was the lowest.b. Weight coefficient of the hypothalamus:Compared with sham group, weight coefficient of the hypothalamus of the embedding group, drug group and ovariectomized model group were redued,there were significantly different (P<0.05). Among them, weight coefficient of the hypothalamus of sham groupwas the highest, ovariectomized model group was the lowest.c. Adrenal weight index:Comparison with drug group, the adrenal weight of embedding group was decreased, there was no significantly different (P>0.05). Comparison with sham group, the adrenal weight of ovariectomized model group was reduced, there was very significant differences (P<0.01); Among them, the adrenal weight of normal group was the highest, ovariectomized model group was the lowest.d. The uterus index:Compared with ovariectomized model group:the uterus weight coefficient of the embedding group were reduced significant (P<0.05);Compared with drug group:the uterus weight coefficient of the embedding group were reduced significant (P<0.05); Compared with the sham group:the uterus weight coefficient of the embedding group, drug group and ovariectomized model group were reduced very significant (P<0.01); Among them, the uterus weight coefficient of the normal group was the highest, the uterus weight coefficient of the embedding group is the lowest.e. Weight coefficient of fat:Compared with ovariectomized model group:the weight coefficient of fat in embedding group, drug group, ovariectomized model group and normal group was reduced significant (P<0.05); Compared with drug group:fat weight of embedding group was reduced, but there was not significantly different (P>0.05); Among them, fat weight of normal group was the highest, the embedding group was the lowest.(3) Aromatase P450 mRNA expression:Compared with ovariectomized model group: the aromatase P450 mRNA expression evel of the embedding group, the drug group was increased obviously (P<0.05); Compared with drug group, the aromatase P450 mRNA expression evel of the embedding group was increased, but there was not significantly different (P>0.05); Compared with sham group:the aromatase P450 mRNA expression evel of the embedding group and ovariectomized model group were increased, but there was not significantly different (P>0.05); Among them, the aromatase P450 mRNA expression evel of the embedding group was the highest, the ovariectomized model group was the lowest.Conclusions(1) The weight of ovariectomized rat was marked increased, the therapy of catgut implementation can curb the increase weight of ovariectomized rat. (2) The aromatase P450 mRNA expression evel was increased after ovariectomized Catgut implementation can affect the aromatase P450 mRNA expression to regulate the function of estrogen.
