| ObjectiveThe study is aimed to use the balance performance monitor record the balance data of health adults from different age groups, analysis the difference between the men and women, and find the possible reason .And provide basis for the clinical test.MethodsTest oneTwenty men served as a group, and twenty women as another group. They were assessed with the Balance performance monitor, and standing balance functions were assessed .All the tests were done by the same tester.SPSS version 16.0 was used to analyze the data.Test twoTwenty-five men served as a group, and seventeen women as another group, age is from 40 to 60, They were assessed with the Balance performance monitor, and standing balance functions were assessed under the conditions of the eyes opened and closed at each assessment session. All the tests were done by the same tester.ResultsTest one1.The two groups in gender, age, height, etc. There was no significant statistical difference.2.The whole process of doing leg lift, men moved a total length of the center of gravity trajectory 238.35±46.54cm, female 210.19±23.63cm, there was significant difference between the two groups.3.Standing in the right foot during the test, men focus X-axis and Y axis in the trajectory length was 0.019±0.005cm, 0.012±0.004cm, the focus of women in the X axis and Y axis of the trajectory length was 0.018±0.005cm , 0.011±0.003cm, no significant difference between men and women (P> 0.05), male focus X-axis and Y axis in trajectory speed was 3.92±1.07cm / s, 2.06±0.76cm / s, the focus on women X-axis and Y axis track speeds were 3.64±1.09cm / s, 2.19±0.53cm / s, between men and women was no significant difference (p> 0.05)4. Left standing in the process of testing, men swinging in the X-axis path length of 0.025±0.005cm, female 0.021±0.003cm, there was significant difference between men and women (p <0.05). Men in Y-axis swing path length of 0.015±0.004cm, women in the Y-axis swing path length of 0.012±0.003cm, there was significant difference between men and women (p <0.05). Men in X-axis swing speed of 4.91±1.19cm / s, female 4.13±0.63cm / s, there was significant difference between men and women (p <0.05). Men in Y-axis speed of swing path 3.04±0.79cm / s, female 2.36±0.57cm / s, there was significant difference between men and women (p <0.05)Test two1.The two groups in gender, age, height, etc. There was no significant statistical difference. (p> 0.05)2.The whole process of doing leg lift, men moved a total length of the center of gravity trajectory 258.30±47.62cm, female 237.69±34.23cm, there was significant difference between the two groups. (p> 0.05)3.Standing in the right foot during the test, men focus X-axis and Y axis in the trajectory length was 0.021±0.006cm, 0.018±0.005cm, the focus of women in the X axis and Y axis of the trajectory length was 0.019±0.006cm , 0.013±0.002cm, no significant difference between men and women (P> 0.05), male focus X-axis and Y axis in trajectory speed was 3.97±1.21cm / s, 2.09±0.81cm / s, the focus on women X-axis and Y axis track speeds were 3.71±1.11cm / s, 2.12±0.61cm / s, between men and women was no significant difference (p> 0.05)4. Left standing in the process of testing, men swinging in the X-axis path length of 0.035±0.025cm, female 0.024±0.014cm, there was significant difference between men and women (p <0.05). Men in Y-axis swing path length of 0.028±0.008cm, women in the Y-axis swing path length of 0.021±0.012cm, there was significant difference between men and women (p <0.05). Men in X-axis swing speed of 5.12±1.34cm / s, female 4.35±0.83cm / s, there was significant difference between men and women (p <0.05). Men in Y-axis speed of swing path 3.54±0.85cm / s, female 2.86±0.61cm / s, there was significant difference between men and women (p <0.05)ConclusionThe balance ability of women is superior to men of different groups. The differences between men and women can work as a clinical test basis. The Balance performance monitor can be used as a tool for clinical test. |
