WebGIS is introduced into PREP and HIV management work, composite different source of data, show the spatial information of these data. So this information system can help researchers to control and manage the use and response of these medicines. This information system include a reminder system, it can help improve the compliance of respondents. It also can provide a communication between respondents and researchers. Methods: Firstly, one survey about man who has sex with man(MSM), commercial sex workers(CSW) and HIV infection spouse was developed in four provinces in southwest of CHINA(Chongqing, Guangxi, Sichuan and Xinjiang). To explore the ways that respondents got the knowledge about HIV/AIDS, the ways that respondents hope to get knowledge about HIV/AIDS and the ways that they hope to get information about PREP and so on. Secondly, using SQL2000 and VS2008 to develop information management system based WebGIS of HIV high-risks group in southwest of CHINA. The BAIDU map was inset into the information management system by BAIDU map API. This information management system is used to manage the basic information, medical and others materials of respondents. The questionnaires were released to respondents by questionnaires system that is included in the information system. So it can help researchers to collect information and data. It is also can help the researchers to alarm the respondents to get and take medicine. The respondents can search and point location though the map function module in the system. The researchers can publish knowledge about HIA/AIDS, the methods about prevention and treatment of HIV/AIDS. So the system can do some jobs about health education and promotion. Results: The results of survey showed that respondents of MSM love to get knowledge about HIV/AIDS from internet, television and some other modern media techniques. They also want to get more knowledge about HIV/AIDS and information of medicines for prevention and treatment of HIV/AIDS though internet. But the results of this survey showed that the respondents of MSM also enjoy to search sexual partners on internet at the same time. The respondents who find sexual partners though internet have more sexual partners than other respondents. And they change sexual partner more frequency than others but they are younger than others. The internet is not the first choose in CSW respondents, but it is also the main choose in all ways. The ratio of choose internet is higher in the younger group. So the internet has a huge potential in prevention of HIV/AIDS. The information management system has been developed successfully though SQL2000 and VS2008. It has been used to publish questionnaires, collect data and information, search information, release and analysis data. The researchers have used the alarm module of this management system to alarm the respondents to take medicine by cell phone short messages, emails and QQ messages. The researchers also plan to use it to do some health education and promotion programs. Conclusion: Internet is the most effective and best ways to communication with each others in their own circle for MSM respondents in this survey. It is also the best way to get knowledge about HIV/AIDS. The main methods that are promoting are not their main choose, including peer education and prevention materials. But the internet is not promoted very well now. So it is very necessary to improve the HIV/AIDS health education for MSM on the internet. Although internet is not the primary choose, it is one of the main choose. And the survey found that the ratio of using internet to get knowledge of HIV/AIDS is higher in younger group. So it is also necessary to improve HIV/AIDS health education on internet for CSW. This research found that develop a system that includes a alarm module is very practical, and it is very easy to use and economical. This system helped the researchers to do some comprehensive analysis about spatial and attribute data. It can provide scientific basics for health service and management. ?... | | Keywords/Search Tags: | WebGIS, information management system, high-risk group, HIV/AIDS | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
