| Objective:To investigate the progression of the lipid profile in patients with rheumatoid arthritis and analysis the relationship between dyslipidemia and atherosclerosis. Methods: Taking 85 cases with RA(including 51 actives and 34 inactives)as researching group, and 97 healthy subjects as normal control group, the serum levels of TC,TG,HDL-C,LDL-C,Apo A-I,Lp(a),FPG in each group and the levels of ESR,hs-CRP in active group were measured. The correlation between TC,TG,HDL-C,LDL-C,Apo A-I,Lp(a)and ESR,hs-CRP were analysised. Results:â‘ The serum levels of TC,TG,Lp(a),LDL-C in the RA group were significantly higher than that in control group, while the levels of HDL-C and Apo A-I were significantly lower. Relating to the inactive group, the dyslipidemia also had the same manifestation in the active group.â‘¡There were positive correlation between TC,TG,LDL-C,Lp(a)and ESR,hs-CRP,while negative between HDL-C,Apo A-I and ESR,hs-CRP. Conclusions:Cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death inpatients developed RA. Dyslipidemia in RA patients seems to play an important role in the the initiation and development of atherosclerosis, and there are significant differences of serum lipid levels between the active and inactive group. So, RA patients with dyslipidemia should be paying more attention to have advantaged manifestations,to diagnosis and treat earlier, and reduce the mortality and morbidity. |
