Objective:To describe the status of knowledge, attitude and behavior among primary students and parents in rural areas of Dali about nutrition and food hygiene. And find out the unreasonable factors about food hygiene of the rural children. In addition, to analyze the determinants as well as to provide the scientific evidence on solving the pertinent problems for related departments.Methods:the cross-sectional study with the satisfied cluster sampling method was conducted to interview the 1695 rural students and 1681 parents in Dali, Eryuan, Nanjian, Xiangyun, Jianchuan,Yangbi. The rates of correctness, the rate of negative attitude, the awareness rate and the formation of a favorable rate of health behavior were used to describe the status of the knowledge and attitude to the study object. And the navigate analyses were used. All dates was inputted by Epidata3.02 as well as all statistical analysis were performed with SPSS version 15.0 and the two—side significant test level was set up asα=0.05.Results:(1) The total awareness rate of food safety knowledge among students in rural areas of Dali was 64.8%. And the highest question of awareness rate is "whether the beverage is better than the plain boiled water", which is 81.0%.The lowest is "whether the students know the foods may contain additives", which is 36.2%.(2) The rate of positive attitude was 80.0%. And the highest question is "vegetables can't to be eat in a long time", which is 94.0%.The lowest is "The foods must be have QS logo when you buying it".(3) The total formation rate for food hygiene is 60.0% in Dali primary school students. the highest behavior is "Buying the food stalls in street as less as possible", about 81.0%.the lowest behavior is "Eating eggs frequently" about 24.2%.(4) There are 83.7% parents pay attention to Food hygiene;88.2% parents are opposed to their children eat snacks;46.4% parents are often discuss the topic of Snacks with their kids.53.7% parents are often teaching their children how to buy the snacks 31.4% parents will give pocket money to their children everyday.Conclusion:(1) To Dali primary school students, the total awareness rate of Nutrition and Children's food hygiene knowledge is 64.8%.(2) There are differences aware nesses between student from different regions, gender, ethnic, whether it is a single child or not, family economic status and grade. There are no differences between registered residence types. (3)There are 20% hold negative attitude to Nutrition and Children's food hygiene knowledge in Dali.4) The total formation rate in Dali primary school students'healthy eating behavior is 60.0%,There are differences in student from different regions,gender, ethnic, whether it is a single child or not, family economic status, registered residence type and grade.(5)There are 83.7% parents pay attention to Food hygiene; 88.2% parents are opposed to their children eat snacks; 46.4% parents are often discuss the topic of Snacks with their kids.53.7% parents are often teaching their children how to buy the snacks.
