| Objective:To study the relation between the expression of IGF-IR(insulin like growth factor-â… receptor) and the short-term effect of platinum-based Chemotherapy in NSCLC(nonsmall cell lung cancer).And to analyze the IGF-IR and other clinical factors impacted on prognosis in NSCLC.Methods:A total of 63 cases of stageâ…¢b andâ…£in NSCLC,with the confirmed pathologic proof in bronchoscope and lymph node biopsy as well as the cytology, which are the first admission in the XinJiang Tumor Hospital from Jan,2006 to Jan,2009.Expression of IGF-IR in 63 cases of paraffin-embedded-pathological specimens was determmined by immunohistochemistry method. Statistical analysis was performed in SPSS (version 17.0).χ2 test is used in analyzing the relation between the expression of IGF-IR and clinical characteristics in NSCLC.χ2 test and Spearman relation analysis are used in analyzing the relation between the expression of IGF-IR and the effect of Chemotherapy.Kaplan-Meier Survival is used in comparison of survival rate(log-rank test used in comparison of two groups).cox regression model is used to evaluate the ralated factors of pronosis.5% or lower p-value is considered to be statistically significant. Results:the expression of IGF-IR is concentrated in the type of cytolemma and cytoplasm.The positive incidence of IGF-IR in NSCLC account for 74.60%(47/63).It dose not related with gender,age, smoking index,TNM stage,histologic type,differentiation.To some extent,it relates with the size of tumor.Expression of IGF-IR is related with the short-term effect of platinum-based Chemotherapy,which is the indicator to evaluating the effect of Chemotherapy. TNM stage,the expression of IGF-IR are the independant factors of prognosis in NSCLC. Conclusion:Negative expression of IGF-IR with platinum-based Chemotherapy in NSCLC may obtain the good trend of effect. IGF-IR is the indicator of pronosis and we should pay close attention to it. |
