Objective: To explore (what's ) the effect of the high altitude area environment on the fetus of the native and the immigrant Han by the monitoring on indicators to the maternal fetal growth and the measure of the weight to the maternal birth and the high altitude area native Han.Methods: To monitor the full-time fetus on the biparietal diameter, head circumference, abdominal circumference, femur length and the RI, S / D values of umbilical artery on Ultrasound, who are moved by the maternal from the native Han(n=400) and the immigrate ones(n=400) in Xi-ning (elevation 2260m); To compare the indicators above with the ones from the plain areas (elevation <100m) at the same time; To predict the weights of the fetus on the results of the indicators on their growth and development. Results: The indicators on growth and development of the full-term fetus from the immigrant mothers (in 2 years) were significantly lower than those of the fetus who are moved by their maternals who are the plain, the native or the immigrant ones of the Han (out 2 years) (p <0.01); The low birth rate on weights of the new babies was significantly higher than the ones from the native and immigrant Han maternal (out 2years) (p <0.05) .。Conclusion: It is the environment which is hypoxic makes the fetus on growth and development in uterus who are moved to the high altitude in a short term; Generally speaking, the organizing body should be used really to adapt to all kinds of weather and environment on the base of the following steps, ie, an initial, a basic and a complete acclimatization. It needs two years to achieve a full acclimatization. Therefore, it is necessary to a further exploration on the mechanisms about the fetus who are moved to the high altitude shortage of Oxygen so that it is helpful to strengthen the care of the perinatal on the immigrants and reduce the adversely affect on the fetus who are moved to the high altitude because of the environment which is short of Oxygen... |
