Clinical Study On Treatment Of Cerebral Infarction With Chinese Medicine Danhongtongjinghuoluo Soup

Objective:This study based on blood stasis and humidication for ischemic stroke of the core of the theory,so we formed Danhongtongjinghuoluo prescription. It can promot blood circulation and remove blood stasis and humidication.Chinese Medicine danhongtongjinghuoluo soup was taken on the basis of Western medicine treatment of Ischemic Stroke(blood stasis and humidication permit).After clinical test,we observated the effectiveness and safety.It could enhance the curative effect and improve prognostic.Methods:By group using randomized,double-blind, time-order balanced design,eighty CI patients were assigned to two groups. The control group (40 cases) was treated with Western Medicine and the treated group (40 cases) was given Chinese Medicine danhongtongjinghuoluo soup on the basis of Western Medicine. The end point was set at the 28th day of the administration. The curative effect was assessed by the Modified Edinburgh-Scandinavia Stroke Scale (MESSS),Activitial Daily Living(ADL),General Ability of Living Condition(Disablement Degree) and laboratory parameters:Platelet count,Fibrinogen,Total Cholesterol and Triglyceride concentrations changes.Results:1. Application of the Chinese Medicine danhongtongjinghuoluo soup on the basis of Western Medicine can improve patients neurologic deficits degree and improve daily living skills:at the end 0f 28 days experiment,the score of MESSS and ADL of treatment group compared with the control group, differences are statistically significant(P<0.01).2. Application of the Chinese Medicine danhongtongjinghuoluo soup on the basis of Western Medicine can reduce the blood viscosity and improve circulation:before and after the treatment,there were no significant difference with the Platelet count, Fibrinogen, Cholesterol,Triglyceride concentrations of the control group(P>0.05),but the numerals of the four indexes of the treated group were reduced than before treatment (P<0.01),and comparison between the treated group and the control group showed significant differences(P<0.05). 3. Effect of the Chinese Medicine danhongtongjinghuoluo soup on the basis of Western Medicine: at the end point of the trial, the markedly effeetive rate was 72.50% in the treated group and 37.50% in the control group, and the former was superior to the latter (P<0.01).The total effective rate was 95.00% in the treated group and 87.50% in the control group, and the former was also superior to the latter (P<0.01).4. Safety Evalution:safety indicaters before and after the treatment showed no significant difference(P>0.05).The results showed that danhongtongjinghuoluo soup can improve the Ischemic Stroke patients with symptoms,signs and without any side effects.Conclusion:Using danhongtongjinghuoluo soup of TCM therapy according to syndrome differentiation combined with Western Medicine by staging shows better curative efficacy on CI and this treatment for CI is safety.
