As an important algorithm, monte carlo can be used in many fields, especially in the numerical computation and analog simulation. The accuracy results can be obtained by building a special model with the computer.As an significant treatment in the cancer, radiation therapy needs to have accurate analyses for dosimetry of the target in order to insure the effectiveness.The dosimetry of the target depends on traditional emperial method and monte carlo method. The traditional emperial method has lower accuracy and cannot be used in some situations.Now, lots of clinical algorithms of brachytherapy are based on the TG-43 algorithms and it can be spent less time in computation of brachytherapy. The simple formalism's parameters are calculated by the method of monte carlo, assuming that tissue composition is equal to water. Of course, the differences between model seed or MCNP model,even the version of MCNP, the number of particles and computer configuration can lead to minor different results.125I seed plays an important role in the brachytherapy, the radiation characters of 125I seed are studied in this paper, and according to AAPM, using the liquid mode, many kinds of functions are calculated with MCNP code.Also, these obtained functions are credible.
