| With the rapid pace of life, more and more people began to overload withstand the pressure from all sides, this would effectively affect many people's physical and mental health. At the same time, depression has become a modern epidemic of mental illness. At present, more scholars are concerned about depression symptoms, but ignored someone with depressive tendencies. In the present study, we have investigated the incidence of depressive tendencies among college students, and to explore their cognitive features of emotional and physiological changes accordingly. To investigate depression state of college students using self-rating depression scale (SDS) and Beck Depression Inventory (BDI). Using the international affective picture system (IAPS) as the emotions evoked stimuli, giving emotional stimuli to no depressive tendency participants and depressive tendency participants, investigate their traits of emotional cognition and physiological changes, and explore their cognitive changes with depressive tendency. The results shown:(1) The survey results with SDS: the incidence of depression in the population as follows: no depression participants in the subjects were 88 out of 55, accounting for the total number of 62.6%. mild depression participants in the subjects were 21, accounting for the total number of 23.9%, moderate depression participants in the subjects were 11, accounting for the total number of 12.5%, and severe depression participants in the subjects were 1, accounting for the total number of 1.1%. Combined SDS with BDI to testing, 209 valid questionnaires, and statistics showed that the number of subjects was 62 meeting the requirements of BDI score greater than 4 points, while SDS standard score greater than 50 points, accounting for the total number of 29.7%. the number of healthy subjects was 34 meeting the requirements of BDI scores less than 4, while SDS standard score less than 50 points, accounting for 16.3% of the number of subjects. As the strict screening criteria, the proportion of subjects with depressive tendencies too few, but in the general population still accounts for a considerable proportion, which should lead to attention in various fields.(2) In physiological indicators, for the depressive tendencies, In the state of positive and negative emotion mutual transformation, skin temperature is more sensitive. For the health person in the context of positive emotion, heart rate can be used as relatively sensitive to stress.(3) From the cognitive side, in the control group, the evaluation scores of neutral pictures which come from negative stimuli group were significantly better than the evaluation scores of the same pictures which came from positive group(p = 0.007 <0.01). Compared to the control group, experimental group's evaluation scores of neutral pictures which came from this two stimuli group have not significant difference (p = 0.069> 0.05).It can be drawn: the proportions of depression tend population to be concerned. The stimulus materials used in the experiment effectively led to the corresponding emotion. Physiological indicators of skin resistance response can be better tested in the mood swings, skin temperature and heart rate can be used to selected depression tend individual which in different states. In the face of emotional stimuli, the control group was more inclined to use cognitive strategies to improve the evaluation of stimuli and to adjust the emotion, but depression tendency group was more inclined to take in passive emotional stimulation, which leads to emotional unstable or deteriorating. |
