Objective: To study the clinical efficacy and adveres reaction of the combination chemotherapy with Vinorelbine(NVB), Ifosfamide(IFO)(NI regimen)for the treatment of refractory and relapsing non-Hodgkin lymphoma(NHL). Methods: The clinical data of one hundred–one patients were analized retrospectively, Fifty-one patients with non-Hodgkin lymphoma(NHL) were treated with NI regimen chemotherapy(NVB 25mg /m2,intravenous drip d1,8; IFO1.2g/m2, intravenous drip d1~4); Meanwhile, fifty patients with NHL were treated with Etoposide(vp-16), Cyclophosphamide(CTX), Pirarubicin (THP), Vincristine(VCR), Prednisone(PRED) regimen (ECHOPregimen) chemotherapy(VP-16 100mg/m2, intravenous drip d1-4; CTX 750mg/m2, intravenous drip d1;THP 45mg/m2, intravenous drip d1,8; VCR 1.4mg/m2, intravenous drip d1,8; PRED 100mg /m2,po, d1~5), The mean of one chemotherapy period is 4 weeks, all the patients are obtained 2~6 periods'treatment while Mean is 4 weeks, evaluated for response after 2 cycles at least. Results: (1)The overall response rate(RR) was 74.5% , complete response (CR)31.4% , patial response (PR)43.1%. In group NI, The overall response rate (RR) was 46.0%, complete response (CR)20.0% , patial response (PR)26.0 %. In group ECHOP, with significant difference (p<0.05). The major toxic effects were bone marrow and digestive reaction, showing no significant difference (p>0.05). (2)There was correlation between progressive-free survival curve of III/IV stage (Ann-Arbor clinical stage) (p<0.05). Conclusion: The combination of vinorelbine(NVB) and Ifosfamide(IFO) possesses better short term efficacy, acceptable toxicity, This protocol is worthy to be warranted as salvage for relapsed or refractory non-Hodgkin′s lymphoma.
