| Objective:Heart disease is one of the most serious diseases that threat human health. Because of the paroxysm of heart disease, it is quite important to monitor electrocardiogram (ECG) signal at home. The purpose of this article is to design two basic parts for home portable ECG monitor with wireless data transmission:ECG data acquisition system and Bluetooth wireless data transmission system. This design offers a favorable hardware platform for designing home portable ECG monitor which may be used in remote monitoring on internet in future.Methods:This research designed ECG data acquisition module and Bluetooth wireless data transmission module. ECG data acquisition module adopts MCU C8051F320 control unit, which functions in amplifying, filtrating, A/D transitioning, displaying and storing of ECG signals. Hereinto, ECG signal amplifying module uses differential amplifier circuit as basic unit, and multistage amplifier circuit as assistant to amplify signals with single power supply, making the amplified signal satisfy the input requirement of the MCU A/D transition. Bluetooth wireless data transmission module was made up of a Bluetooth ROK101007 interfaced with MCU C8051F320; via the interface between PC and Bluetooth module, realize Bluetooth wireless data transmission and ECG signal reconstruction.Results:The input impedance of ECG signal amplifier designed in this paper is more than 10MΩ, common-mode rejection ratio is 67dB. Preamplifier test indicates that it has a good performance in amplifying EGC signals. ECG data acquisition test indicates that when the data transmission rate is 19.2KPS, data may be transmitted with accuracy and reliability via Bluetooth wireless transmission module within an effective distance of 10 meters.Conclusion:The data acquisition module designed in this research effectively collected and stored the ECG signals. The Bluetooth wireless data transmission module transmits data using Bluetooth technology demonstrated good reliability and accuracy. The ECG data acquisition module display ECG signals and simple measurement parameters on LCD; ECG signals acquired were transmitted to PC through Bluetooth wireless data transmission module and realized the primary analysis of the ECG signals on PC. The two modules provide support for future use in developing remote monitoring of home portable ECG monitor. |
